A Contemporary Take on a Classic Shaker

This bespoke kitchen in Sennen was a hugely satisfying job. Not just it is at one of my favourite beaches but because the brief was quite precise.

The owner of this property is a renowned art dealer who's eye for detail can't be underestimated. The brief was classic design and I only want drawers.

I took this a step further and decided to make false fronts up for the appliances so all of the units not only looked uniform but the lines all married up perfectly around the kitchen weather they were secret doors or drawers.

I was very happy with the finished outcome and most importantly, so was the customer!

Carcass - Birch Ply

Face Frames - Tulip (hardwood)

Drawer Boxes - Oak Veneer Birch Ply With Solid Oak Edging

Drawer/Door Fronts - Tulip with ply panels 

Running gear - Blum Bluemotion

Finish - Sprayed in Farrow and Ball "Lime White"
